AKASHIK: THE STORY SO FAR

Feeling a little lost lately? We're happy to help! Here is a rundown of the story so far.

Taus and her soon to be ex-boyfriend, Herman, part ways at an undisclosed spaceport location. Herman, left stranded with only a bag of clothing and his teddy bear, subsequently phases out of the story. Taus on the other hand, continues to fly with her ship and a yen for a new bottle of wine.

She gets her wine as well as a pair of boots when she trades her ship, the Keelhauled, for the Striptease. Her journey continues, but not without a major ship malfunction which flushes out her stowaway, Ganji.

Ganji firmly in tow, the journey once again continues. Ganji tries to escape on at least one occasion, but he soon learns that the outside world is not as nice as it seems. They journey on to a new adventure involving pirates.  Then the couple finally arrive at their final destination: Spacestation XXX (pronounced "Spacestation Thirty").

At first Ganji is mortified but he adapts quickly. While he explores the spacestation trying to find leads on the wherabouts of his old chum, Fly, Taus has a lunch date with her former yeoman, creatively named Yeoman. When Ganji returns to the Striptease, Taus is nowhere to be found. Again he tries to escape.

This time his plan is foiled by a station-wide shut down. The system has been hacked. Yeoman arrives on the bridge to announce that the station has been taken over by insurgents and is shot. This triggers sub-routine protocols in the station's computer to self-destruct. The station's commander is forced to surrender.

Meanwhile, Ganji leaves the Striptease to rescue Taus from certain and immenent doom. Yeoman captures him and drags him to the insurgent's leader. Predictably, this turns out to be Taus. Ganji's shock is then doubled when he learns that Taus is really his former friend Fly!

Disgusted, Ganji leaves Taus to her fate. He runs into some more former friends and with them he departs the spacestation to land planetside.

In the meantime, we are inundated with flash cameo appearances from her foster son Fox and life at military school. He has been chosen as a candidate to replace the former elite team known as Cerberus. He and the other nine cadidates are soon ordered by the Adonai on their first mission. They must find the last remaning members of the first Cerberus team and eliminate them. Unfortunately, Taus is one of the remaning two.

When last this page was updated, the planet of Tresed around which Spacestation XXX orbits was mounting a mercenery attack to retake the station. Ganji has just rejoined the military, Taus is moping on the bridge, and Fox is being given lessons on how to handle his new partner, Mad Ren.
